REMAINING ELECTION SCHEDULE FOR 2008
Primary Election Day is June 3, 2008
The deadline to register to vote or transfer your voting record is May 23, 2008 and the deadline to apply for an absentee ballot is May 29, 2008.

The Primary Run-Off Election, if necessary, will be held on July 15, 2008.
The deadline to register or transfer for the Run-Off election is July 3, 2008 and the absentee ballot application deadline is July 10, 2008.

The General Election will be held on November 4, 2008.
The last day to register or transfer prior to the General Election is October 24, 2008. The last day to apply for an absentee ballot is October 30.

A voter must declare a party preference in the Primary and Primary Run-Off Elections, but this is not necessary for the General Election.

President (Primary held on Feb. 5, 2008 with early voting in Mobile County on Jan. 30)

U. S. Congress
Circuit Court Judge - Place 10
District Court Judge - Places 3 and 4
Mobile County Commission, Places 1, 2 and 3
Mobile County License Comm.
Mobile County Revenue Comm.
Mobile County Treasurer
School Board Commissioners, Places 3 and 4
Constables
Fire district trustee elections, if necessary, are March 25, 2008
Mobile County Municipalities, other than the City of Mobile, will hold municipal elections on August 26, 2008
